Flip the Script relies on individual donations made through our fiscal sponsorship with Springboard for the Arts, to support our continued ability to provide subsidized access to Queer films and experiences, and to pay Queer artists for their work.
Over the last three years we have redistributed over $15,000 to Queer filmmakers, given away over 600 free tickets, and paid competitive wages to our support staff members.
Our current fundraising goal of $11,000 will directly support:
Presenting a free outdoor rural screening!
Additional 2023 programming includes our plan to bring an outdoor film screening event to a rural community in MN to build Queer spaces outside of the metro area.Hiring a Marketing Manager!
Currently we operate with a staff of two very dedicated individuals, and we are determined to bring more wonderful people to the team, starting with a part-time Marketing Manager during the 2023 film festival.
